Velkiro is an Australian built company, founded by a talented duo of experienced cyber professionals.

Anthony Jones

Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer

AJ is an offensive, AI, and defensive security specialist, with a proven track record across both research and founding.

This includes co-founding Cybersecurity Station, a global not-for-profit that promotes cyber education, certification, and collaboration, novel research into vulnerability exploitation that became the community project patchwindow.com, and developing VPv1: a vulnerability prioritisation framework that is around ten times more accurate than EPSS v4.

Chris Thompson

Co-founder & Chief Technology Officer

From working on submarines in the military, to leading the security team for one of Australia's largest private family offices, Chris brings deep defensive and AI security knowledge and a pragmatic, no-hype approach.

Chris understands the core challenges that defenders face, and ensures that everything Velkiro builds ultimately solves a problem rather than just creating extra work.
